Melbourne Academy of the Arts (MAARTS) & The Australian National Youth Ballet (ANYB) are looking for brilliant and passionate people to join our Classical Teaching Faculty under the artistic direction of Jasmina Stefkovski. MAARTS has earned national and international recognition as one of Australia’s leading ballet schools offering classical Russian Vaganova training.

Experience and Knowledge
Proven work experience in the Dance community.
Structure and teach ballet classes following the Academy’s System of Training
Confident in teaching classes to students of varied ages and skills
Manage a class, work independently and follow studio procedures.
Create and deliver content rich lessons to engage our dancers and develop student’s skills throughout the year.
High level of technical and choreographic skills.
Efficient time management ability, with excellent attention to detail.
Maintain appropriate staff/student relationships
Participate in the audition selection process as required
Produce written assessments on student progress
Clear, confident communication (verbal and written)
Qualities we are looking for:
Has experience and training.
Contributes to a positive, encouraging and unified team environment.
Prolific in work preparation and classroom management
Patient, adaptable, nurturing, invested in the student’s development
A role model that inspires students to reach their goals and be the best person they can be.
