Yulia has over 15 years experience with teaching students & adults of all different ages and levels in classical ballet as well as stretch & strengthen classes.
She first commenced her training with the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet Academy in the Vaganova Method where she completed training in Levels 1-8, having graduating in 1986 alongside famous artist and fellow class mate Vladimir Malakhov. She then went on to work with the Moscow City Ballet company and other companies as a professional ballet dancer and toured all over the world, visiting; United States of America, South Korea, Israel, Cyprus, Egypt, Taiwan and the United Kingdom .
Since moving to Australia in 1995, Yulia was a classical teacher from 1996-2010 at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). She has also taught at John Curtin College of the Arts and other prestigious dance schools nationally.
Through ballet technique, Yulia empowers students to develop their muscle skills and coordination, helping them gain a better understanding of their body and the way it moves.
