Training Program

Competitions troupes are a great way to develop confidence, further your performance skills and dance repertoire as well as a chance to meet new people and be a part of a team. Successful entrants will thus represent the Academy and compete at eisteddfods and competitions throughout the year as well as community events. The competition squad is for troupe items only, if you wish to do solos, duos or trios you will need to contact the Academy administration team & faculty to organise this.

Competitions offer lots of opportunities for students from the age of 5 all the way through to Over 18  years.

Students are required to participate in weekly 1 hour practice lessons. There is a 100% attendance required (unless unwell) and full commitment. Students wanting to compete in solo, duo, trio sections will need to book a private lesson with a faculty member allocated by the Director. You may request for a specific person however there is no guarantee your request will be met due to staff availability, studio availability, choreography etc.

Entry into the Competition Squads  is by audition only.
